Conference Fees

The conference fee includes a registration packet with agenda, luncheon and parking.

Attention: KS Dept. of Transportation employees will need to register using the state agency registration form (pdf) and emailing it to Waqas Rana at ceaeconf@ku.edu.

Registration and Cancellation Policy

 

We encourage you to send a substitute if you cannot attend. A full refund of registration fees for attendees, less a $50 administrative fee, will be available if requested in writing to CEAEConf@ku.edu by October 19, 2023 A $35 fee also will be charged for returned checks. (Please note that if you fail to cancel by the deadline and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.) KU CEAE reserves the right to cancel the Geotechnical Engineering Conference and return all fees in the event of insufficient registration. The liability of the University of Kansas is limited to the registration fee. The University of Kansas will not be responsible for any losses incurred by registrants, including but not limited to airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits.

We occasionally use mailing lists that we have leased. If you receive unwanted communication from KU CEAE, it is because your name appears on a list we have acquired from another source. In this case, please accept our apologies.

Inclement Weather Policy

Even if the University of Kansas Lawrence campus closes due to inclement weather there is a very good chance that the conference will still be held. The KU Memorial Union generally remains open. An official announcement as to the status of the conference will be posted on the conference website and an email will be sent to all participants no later than 5:30 a.m. the morning of the event.
