KU CEAE reserves the right to cancel the 69th Annual Environmental Conference and return all fees in the event of insufficient registration. The liability of the University of Kansas is limited to the registration fee. The University of Kansas will not be responsible for any losses incurred by registrants, including but not limited to airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits.
The University of Kansas Memorial Union is located on the KU Lawrence campus, 1301 Jayhawk Blvd., Lawrence, KS 66045. The event will take place on Level 5 of the Union. If you enter from the garage, go across the skywalk on the fourth floor of the garage. This will take you to Level 2 of the Union. Stairs and elevator are located in the corridor.
Note: There have been parking changes at KU.
Access to central campus is restricted from 7:45 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, while school is in session. Visitor parking is available in the Mississippi Street parking garage north of the Kansas Union, accessible from Mississippi Street and from Oread Avenue. Parking is also available on the street; however, you will need to allow time to walk. Avoid parking in lots that are KU designated lots, hotel or dorm parking, as ticketing or towing may result.
Conference Parking in the Mississippi Street Garage:
Parking passes are no longer issued. If you choose to use the parking garage, your license plate will be scanned as you enter. You will then have 15 minutes to find a kiosk at which you must enter your license plate information and pay in advance, by credit card or in cash, for the number of hours you plan to park. Parking kiosks are available in the SW stair tower on levels 1, 4, and 5.
The charge to park in the garage is $1.75 for the first hour, and $1.50 for each additional hour, or any portion of an hour. Cash payment may be made at a machine located in the fourth level stairwell. Payment may also be made using the ParkMobile app, which can also be used to obtain maps of the campus and to “feed the meter” remotely if you decide to longer than initially planned.
