Parking

Parking in the Mississippi Street Parking Garage is included in your registration. However, due to changing policies within KU Parking, you will need to register your vehicle prior to the event. We have set up a registration website on the KU Parking Portal. Click the link below and follow these instructions to register your vehicle.

1. Visit ku.aimsparking.com
2. Select "Purchase Event Permit"
3. Agree to the terms and services, then select "Conference/Mtg"
4. Select "Structural Engineering Conference"
5. Enter voucher code structures-2026
6. Select "MSPG EVENT PARKING" under Permit Type
7. Enter your vehicle information and select "continue."
8. Input your email and select "checkout."

Your parking is confirmed once you have received a receipt in your inbox from "noreply@parking-receipt.com." If you do not register your vehicle, you will be ticketed. Please make sure you have registered your vehicle when you register for this conference.

Professional Development Hours

The Structural Engineering Conference offers a total of 6.5 Professional Development Hours for full attendance of the conference and 7 Professional Development Hours for those who attended the conference and submitted a form ranking our student poster presenters.

PDH certificates were sent to attendees needing PDHs on March 8, 2025. If you have not received your PDH certificate, please contact us at strconf@ku.edu.  

Registration & Cancellation Policy

We encourage you to send a substitute if you cannot attend. A full refund of registration fees minus a $50 administration fee, will be available if requested in writing and received at least three weeks prior to the event. No refunds will be made after that date. A $35 fee will also be charged for returned checks.

KU CEAE reserves the right to cancel the conference and return all fees in the event of insufficient registration or unforeseeable circumstances. The liability of the University of Kansas will not be responsible for any losses incurred by registrants, including but not limited to airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits.

Privacy Policy

The Department of Civil, Environmental & Architectural Engineering does not share, sell or rent its mailing lists. You have our assurance that any information you provide will be held in confidence by KU CEAE.

We occasionally use mailing lists that we have leased or obtained from another party. If you receive unwanted communications from Department of Civil, Environmental & Architectural Engineering, it may be because your name appears on a list we have acquired from another source. In this case, please accept our apologies.
