Driving Simulator
With the use of the driving simulator in G435 LEEP2, Dr. Kondyli and Dr. Schrock will conduct research to better understand driver actions and interactions with other vehicles, with the roadway environment (geometry, traffic control, signal control, etc.), and with the environmental conditions, taking also into account emerging vehicle technologies such as advanced driver assistance systems. This will ultimately assist in understanding driver behavior and developing safer conditions for the driving population.
