KU CEAE faculty receive prestigious awards
Walter L. Huber Civil Engineering Research Prizes

Jian Li, Ph.D., P.E., F.ASCE, is one of five ASCE scholars awarded a Walter. L. Huber Civil Engineering Research prize. These awards are given to members of the Society for notable achievements in research related to civil engineering. Award recipients are chosen based on the impact of their research, both on their chosen subdisciplines, as well as on the field of civil engineering more broadly.
Li is the fourth member of the CEAE Department to receive this honor. Past faculty recipients include John S. McNown (1949), David Darwin (1985) and Bob Dodds (1991).
