Graduate Program
KU CEAE offers a wide array of graduate degree programs for full-time and evening-only students.
- Master of Science (MS) in Civil Engineering
- Master of Science (MS) in Architectural Engineering
- Master of Science (MS) in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering
- Master of Science (MS) in Environmental Science
- Master of Civil Engineering (MCE)
- Master of Construction Management (MCM)
- PhD in Civil Engineering
- PhD in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering
- PhD in Environmental and Water Resources Science
A minimum of 3.0 GPA is required for admission into any of the graduate degree programs listed above. You can earn your master’s degree in civil engineering in two semesters as a full-time student in the MS Design Option or MCE degree program.
The GRE has been waived for fall 2021. An official TOEFL or IELTS score report (not student’s copy) is required. DUOLINGO is now accepted. There are several ways to provide English proficiency (required for admission) if you do not have test scores. Contact the CEAE Department if you need more information. Scores achieved should not be more than two years prior to the requested start date for graduate study. Submit TOEFL or IELTS scores to:
