Architectural Engineering


KU's Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering (BS ARCE) degree program, established in 1912, is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc. (ABET). Information about ABET's accreditation policies and processes can be found via KU's BS ARCE program has been accredited continuously since accreditation of architectural engineering programs began in October 1936 by the ECPD; ECPD renamed itself ABET in 1980.
